The Imaginaerium Engine - Master Book

The Imaginaerium Engine tells the story of a heroic 3-week epic journey in 1936 undertaken by a girl named Maggie, who joins a group of Tuatha teenagers to stop evil from destroying the Imaginaerium Engine that powers the magic portals of the Otherworlds. As she navigates the dangers and magic of both her hometown and the mysterious Otherworlds, she discovers the truth about herself and her family. With each challenge, Maggie is forced to question who she is, whom she can trust, and whether she truly has the strength to fulfill the impossible task before her. She learns that success is never assured. Evil is powerful and does not always lose, no matter how good its opponents are!

In their sleepy town, life was boring and routine for Maggie and her brother—until one Saturday afternoon in 1936, when a weird woman dressed in black stepped off the bus from Fort Worth and walked into their mother's hotel. She said her name was Mrs. Johnson, but later Maggie learned it wasn't. It was really Vivienne, and she definitely wasn't who she pretended to be... She claimed that Maggie was a changeling and that she was her true mother. Vivienne had come to take Maggie home through the Imaginaerium Engine portal in the clock tower and into the shadowy Otherworlds.

Maggie insists she'll escape, but breaking free from webs of mystery and magic isn't easy.

In the Otherworlds, Maggie has a vision of the Otherworlds' destruction at the hands of Fomoire demons and soon finds herself tasked by Vivienne to return to her hometown with a group of teenagers from the Otherworlds to save the device Vivienne calls the Imaginaerium Engine... and she only has 5 days to do it! Maggie must find a way to save the Engine and the Otherworlds... even though she has no idea what she's doing!

Nothing ever seems to go as expected, and defending the Engine was no exception. It was only the beginning of a quest that would take Maggie and her friends from Texas to Ireland, where she would eventually be reunited with her family as they fought together to stop the evil of Lord Bres.
