Young Writers Workshop -

Otter Track is committed to the early engagement of young writers in the creative process of writing as well as the activities of publishing and promotion necessary to becoming a successful author.

We sponsor and host community writing workshops for young writers as well as workshops for adults who seek to improve their writing craft and their effectiveness as a writers.

We currently host a young writers workshop (we prefer to call it a lab) at the Alabama River Regions Art Center in Wetumpka, Alabama. Our focus is on helping young writers feel comfortable in experimenting with language and narrative forms while working with them in understanding what is working in their pieces and why.

Our mission is to help young writers transform into young authors.
